Purpose of the First Congregational Church Council:

To prayerfully and thoughtfully interpret and enact the Church’s mission, vision and values, and to provide leadership and strategic direction. To safeguard the assets of FCC and to ensure adequate resources (human, spiritual, financial, and property) to carry out FCC’s mission. To support, direct, and partner with leadership staff.To be ambassadors to the community on behalf of FCC.

Interested in joining the leadership of FCUCC?

The Leadership Cultivation Committee (LCC) cultivates future leaders for FCC and annually prepares a slate of nominees for open positions on the Church Council and the LCC.  Members are elected by the Congregation and serve a three-year term.

Are you interested in joining the leadership of our church? The LCC has open positions in both the Leadership Cultivation Committee and the Church Council. The three Council positions that are open for 2026 are:
