Intercessory Prayer

FCUCC has a network of people committed to intercessory prayer.

Intercessory prayer is prayer for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another's case. One study Bible defines intercession as "holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention."  

To submit a prayer or join the group, please contact the church office to be put in touch with the Coordinator (office@fcucc.org / 719.635.3549).

The Coordinator forwards prayer requests to members of the group and includes the prayer requests printed in the weekly church bulletin. They may also be remembered not only in prayer but with a card.
