The Cooking School meets three to four times per year and features a knowledgeable chef who introduces attendees to good nutrition, new techniques, new combinations of taste and new places to shop for the freshest of ingredients.
We meet in the Kitchen at First Congregational Church (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - but we always run over, so be prepared.) We sample all the prepared food in small quantities, but just enough for you to get familiar with the tastes.
There is no charge although we traditionally put a basket out so that you contribute a tip if you are so inclined.
The Cooking School takes a break durining the holidays and in the “bleak-mid-winter.” Lent brings us to life again, with the promise of spring and Easter.
COMING UP:

October 3: Alyce Morgan:
The Fall French Dinner Party
Our own Alyce Morgan will be on stage again to present the menu she had planned for us in October, 2022, before she and her husband Dave came down with Covid.

She will demonstrate the art of the “Fall French Dinner Party.” We will feast on Potage Crecy (a perfect carrot soup), Fricassee de Poulet (simmered chicken and vegetables in a rich sauce), and Chocolate Pots de Creme.
