The Mission Giving & Outreach Committee is comprised of church members, appointed by Church Council, who advocate for and support local, national, and worldwide organizations that serve the least of our brothers and sisters.
This is done in two ways:
- MG&O allocates funds designated by Council from Mission Giving funds pledged by the Congregation.
- MG&O supports various volunteer outreach opportunities in support of community needs.
In keeping with our church’s vision, we fervently express the love of Christ through our words and actions both in our community and the wider world.
Thank you to all of the non-profit organizations that applied for the 2024 MG&O Grant.
This year, we are especially interested in funding organizations which serve in the following areas:
- Homelessness
- Hunger
- Refugee Aid
- Mental Health
- Abuse and Neglect
When the MG&O Committee has made its selection, grantees will be notified by letter and/or email.
Global Ministries is a joint witness in mission between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Join us in our mission to receive and share the Good News of Jesus Christ by joining with global and local partners to work for justice, reconciliation and peace.
