Planned gifts are some of the most important and lasting gifts a donor can make in support of the mission of First Congregational Church. While current gifts (annual pledges, capital campaign, etc.) usually benefit ongoing ministry and outreach programs, planned gifts are most commonly made to one of the church’s Endowment Funds or another type of Permanently Restricted Fund to ensure the continued longevity of the church. When you include the church in your estate planning, you make a contribution that has a long-lasting effect on the church.
Members and friends who have included First Congregational Church in their will or estate plan are invited to join the church’s legacy society known as The Seven Pillars Fellowship. We joyfully welcome donors of gifts of every value, small and large, into this fellowship. Members are invited to proudly wear their Seven Pillars Fellowship lapel pins on Sundays and to gather as a group annually for a meal with friends.
