Godly Play
– rooted in ancient storytelling but active Montessori pedagogy, is provided as an option for Preschool – Grade 1. Godly Play is offered at the 11 am service on ALL Sundays.
Kids’ Community Worship – is provided as a worship option. It is an opportunity for Preschool – Grade 5 children to explore worship themes using the multiple intelligences, developing skills to participate & understand worship in a child-friendly setting. Ubuntu’s, or older shepherds, develop leadership & service skills by partnering & modelling for our youngest. Follow the “hat” after Children’s Message.

Rehearsals:(Preschool/Kindergarten/1st Grade) Tuesdays, 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm  |(2nd/3rd/4th/5th Grade) Tuesdays, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Preschool/Kindergarten/1st Grade: This rehearsal includes learning the basics of vocal technique, playing musical instruments like boom whackers, hand chimes, percussion, as well as musical games and movement. This focused, thirty minute rehearsal is perfect for younger children who are just starting out in the world of music. They explore how music can be used to praise God and honor each other. Sometimes these students meet with the older students, and other times, these students meet separately to focus on age-appropriate music and skills.
2nd/3rd/4th/5th Grade: During the first 30 minutes of this rehearsal, students focus on singing and vocal technique. During the second half of the rehearsal, students are learning to play handbells and hand chimes. Throughout these rehearsals, students are learning music theory and technique, as well as having opportunities to play percussion instruments, create their own music, dance, sing in foreign languages & learn about other cultures all in a spirit of worship.
